What’s New in Casebook
New features, fixes, and other product updates to help you get the most out of Casebook
October 14th
cb PEOPLE
IMPROVEMENTFeature: You told us and we listened! You can now add and edit provider people one by one. These new person cards make it easier to do individual actions on a person without switching to edit mode. Note: Delete is available to users with that permission level
cb TRACK
NEW Feature: 'Provider Status' is a new field available in cb Track for both provider and agency profiles. This field allows you to track the status of a provider within the context of your organization, and is separate from a 'license status.'
While 'license status' is designed to track the official legal status for a provider (typically dictated by a county or state jurisdiction), ‘Provider status' gives you the ability to track your organization's relationship with a provider - e.g., 'Active' for providers that you are currently working with or 'Closed' for providers that you are no longer working with, but need to keep in Casebook for historical reference.
To update a providers status, simply click on the purple edit icon, and scroll down to Provider status.
Note: In the near future, you will be able to sort providers by 'provider status', and designate certain providers as 'closed' so that they no longer show up on worker assignments or trigger notifications.
cb CORE
NEW Feature: In-app notifications are triggered by important actions in Casebook and can be seen on every screen in real time. To access the in-app notification center, click on the bell icon next to the search bar. We display up to 100 notifications. Figure A. shows the anatomy of an in-app notification. Chart 1. displays all of the current notifications available.
We want your feedback. If you have any email or in-app notifications you’d like us to put on the wishlist, please share with us on support@casebook.net.
cb Track Workflows Preview
Workflows is a feature that enables customers:
To define repeatable processes within their organizations,
To identify for staff what their assigned responsibilities are, incorporate reviews, and
Target timelines for completion.
Why workflows?
Workflows will help organizations plan and track the work needed in order to remain compliance and will help workers stay up-to-date on the priorities needing their attention soonest.
Casebook provides a workflow template, so you have an example to adapt, and a model to learn from.
Below is an example workflow for Foster Parent License.
