Editing a Role's Permissions

Casebook comes fully loaded with roles and permissions, however, Administrators can customize or make changes to these roles and their permissions.

             cb Admin
  1. In cb Admin, click Roles under the Global section. 
  2. Click on the Edit button (pencil) on the far right of the role that you want to change. 
  3. In the window that appears, check or uncheck the boxes next to specific permissions.
    • For example, you might uncheck checkbox under Create for both People and Provider Management. This means that the Provider Worker role will not be able to create new person profiles or new provider profiles. However, they can still view or edit. 
  4. After making changes, click Save to confirm.

Note: After make changes to the permissions for a role, every user with that role will have these new custom permissions.
