Merge Records in Casebook

Certain record types can be merged in Casebook. This article will cover how to merge duplicate records.

To merge a record, please follow the steps below: 

  1. Go through the details of both records in question and determine which record will be the Target Record. The Target Record refers to the record that contains the most data and will be preserved after the merge. 
  2. Manually copy and paste data and information from the Duplicate Record to the Target Record. We suggest entering this information in the Notes section to preserve dates/times. 
  3. Once all the data has been moved from the duplicate record to the Target Record, you can delete the Duplicate Record.
