cb Admin Overview

cb Admin is where administrators can configure the Casebook platform to fit their organizations' needs. Update settings, field configurations, users, roles and much more.

The following sections are available in cb Admin depending on your organization:

Global

The Global section is where administrators can add and assign roles to new users, make changes to permissions, register external applications, and configure global fields.

  • External applications: You can register external applications that you want to use with Casebook APIs. To learn more about how to register external APIs, click here. If you need help setting up integration through Zapier, click here.
  • Fields: Configure values for global fields (i.e. Meeting type) here. To learn more about configurable fields, check out this article.
  • Portal users: Portal users can use cb Access. In the Portal users section of cb Admin, administrators can review and make changes to portal users' accounts. To learn about inviting a portal user, check out this article here.
  • Users: Admin can manage their workers/users in this section. To learn more about adding new Casebook users, click here. Also, check out these articles if you need to make changes to their account and click here if you need to disable an account.
  • Roles: Casebook users will need at least one role assigned to them. Roles dictate what a user can do and access. Casebook automatically has default roles, and admins can make changes to existing roles or create custom ones, as well. Check out this article to get an overview of Roles and Permissions

Providers

The Providers section is where administrators can import data, configure values, upload forms to be used in cb Track, manage notifications settings, and create and make changes to workflows. 

All changes made in the Providers section will apply to Provider records in cb Track. 

  • Data: Admin can import data into cb Track from this section. In order to import data, you'll need to download the sheet in cb Admin, fill it out, and upload it. To learn more about how to import providers data, click here
  • Fields: Configure values in cb Track from here. The values that you can configure will be displayed in a dropdown menu in the applicable section in cb Track. Check out this article to learn more about configurable fields.
    • Admin can map the Provider status field to a parent value. By mapping status fields to parent values, admin can help workers prioritize and stay updated on active providers only. To learn more about mapping fields to parent values, click here.
  • Forms: Forms can be created in cb Admin to be used in cb Track. 
  • Notifications: Help keep workers informed on updates to providers with notifications. You can control notification settings in this section. To learn more about turning notifications on and off, click here
  • Workflows: Automate processes and assign tasks to workers with workflows. Check out this article to learn more about workflows

People

The People section is where administrators can import people data and configure person record values. 

All changes made in the People section will apply to People records. 

  • Data: Admin can import people data into Casebook from this section. In order to import data, you'll need to download the sheet in cb Admin, fill it out, and upload it. To learn more about how to import people data, click here
  • Fields: Configure values on a person record from here. The values that you can configure will be displayed in a dropdown menu in the applicable section on a person profile/record. Check out this article to learn more about configurable fields.

cb Intake

The cb Intake section is where administrators can configure cb Intake fields, create Intake forms, and manage Intake notifications.

All changes made in the cb Intake section will apply to cb Intake only. 

  • Fields: Configure values on an intake record from here. The values that you can configure will be displayed in a dropdown menu in the applicable section on an intake. Check out this article to learn more about configurable fields.
  • Forms: Forms can be created in cb Admin to be used in cb Intake.
  • Notifications: Help keep workers informed on updates to intake reports with notifications. You can control notification settings in this section. To learn more about turning notifications on and off, click here

cb Engage

The cb Engage section is where administrators can import case data, make changes to fields on the case page, configure cb Engage fields, create case forms, manage Engage notifications, and create workflows. 

All changes made in the cb Engage section will apply to cb Engage only. 

  • Data: Admin can import data into a case from this section. In order to import data, you'll need to download the sheet in cb Admin, fill it out, and upload it. To learn more about how to import cases data, click here
  • Dynamic Pages: Go a step further with configuration and customization of the case page. Admin can relabel case detail fields and add new fields to better fit your organization's needs. Learn more about Dynamic Fields here
